Welcome to Hu Group! Advanced membranes & membrane processes for seawater utilization, as one of the most effective and efficient technologies, have been widely used in many fields including seawater desalination, wastewater treatment, salinity-gradient power generation, and product concentration or separation. Our research group focuses on the development of advanced membranes and membrane processes for both fundamental and application-orientated study. Our research involves the synthesis of novel membrane materials and nanomaterials for robust membranes, the fabrication of advanced membranes for precise separation under critical environmental conditions, and the integration of advanced membrane system for novel applications. Our research is multidisciplinary ranging from materials sciences and polymer engineering, chemical engineering, to environmental science and engineering.
膜分离技术作为一种最有效、最高效的分离技术,在事关国计民生的多个领域得到广泛应用,如海水淡化、污水处理、盐差发电、产品浓缩分离等。我们研究小组主要从事分离膜的制备及应用研究,致力于提升分离膜的选择分离性能和应用领域。我们既从事基础研究又面向应用解决分离膜所面临的膜材料选择少,膜分离精度差,膜应用领域窄等问题,从新型膜材料和纳米材料的设计合成入手,结合化学与环境工程背景,开发制备高性能分离膜,并开发集成膜系统拓宽分离膜应用领域。我们研究团队是一支多学科交叉的富有朝气的创新团队,团队成员分别具有材料,化工,环境等教育和科研背景。
